A good dog tag should primarily make it easy to get your pet safely home again.

At Armytags, you'll find personalised dog tags for dogs, cats, and other pets, where your own text is embossed directly onto the tag with raised letters. This provides a durable and clear result with the classic dog tag look.

All dog tags in this category come with a 20 mm split ring instead of a chain, so they can be easily attached directly to a collar.

You decide what should be on the tag.

Most people choose, for example:

Most models have space for up to 14 characters per line, while smaller models may have less space. Our embossing machine can also handle characters such as Æ, Ø, Å, Ö, and Ä, as well as symbols like ♥ and ✝.

Embossed text that lasts

The text is not printed or laid on top of the surface. Instead, letters and characters are physically embossed into the metal, becoming part of the dog tag itself.

This provides a robust and classic result, well-suited for an active daily life with dogs, cats, or other animals.

What should be on a dog tag?

If your pet goes missing, the most important thing is that the person who finds it can quickly contact you.

Therefore, we recommend at least using the space for clear contact information. Many also choose to add the animal's name and possibly special information that may be relevant.

In Denmark, there are also special rules for marking and identifying dogs, so it's always a good idea to stay updated on the current requirements. The current Armytags page also refers to the Dog Act in this regard.
